You should be aware that some whistleblower protection laws have very short statutes of limitation and you may need to take immediate action to protect your rights. Do not wait for your referral from us to protect your rights. You should continue your own efforts to obtain an attorney and to learn about what laws may protect you.
Having critical information about whistleblower rights, laws and protections is crucial to the success of your case. Whistleblower laws are complicated, vary from state to state and some contain little known 30-day statute of limitations. We strongly urge you to purchase Concepts and Procedures in Whistleblower Law, by Stephen M. Kohn. Concepts is the most comprehensive guide to whistleblower laws ever written. It provides invaluable information on every state and federal whistleblower law and will help you and/or your attorney navigate the many difficult legal issues that confront whistleblowers. You should obtain a copy of this book immediately in order to learn which law may protect you and whether you need to take immediate steps to protect your rights.
While the ARS is a free service, we receive no government support or corporate assistance and are completely dependent on voluntary contributions and attorney membership dues. Your contribution is essential to the continued existence of the ARS.
