Mary Jane Wilmoth, Program Director and Co-Treasurer

Mary Jane Wilmoth, Esq. started her career at the National Whistleblowers Center as its first Public Interest Law Fellow in 1994.  She has been an instrumental figure in defending whistleblower rights in both complex NRC licensing and enforcement proceedings and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) whistleblowers before the DOL.


In addition to her position as an attorney, Ms. Wilmoth developed the NWC's Internet presence and has overseen the NWC's website since its inception in 1997.  She also developed the NWC's social media strategy. Ms. Wilmoth ensures that the NWC's social broadcasting is fully integrated with the efforts of all NWC programs as well as the websites for Whistleblower's Radio and the NWC Store.

Ms. Wilmoth also serves as the NWC's chief financial officer and as an Attorney-Trustee of the National Whistleblower Legal Defense and Education Fund.

Ms. Wilmoth has a J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center and a B.A. in Government and Politics from George Mason University. Ms. Wilmoth is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia
