Even if you have signed the petition before, it is critical that you take action now to tell the Rules Committee to vote for whistleblower protection now. Then tell everyone you know to demand whistleblower protection now!
Over the years you have helped enhance whistleblower rights by taking action at crucial moments. Today's vote is the culmination of your efforts. You know that there can be no accountability as to how taxpayer dollars are spent without whistleblower protection. We must make sure this amendment is included in the final stimulus package.
Today's Rules Committee vote is critical, but the fight doesn't end today. The final vote will be tomorrow so keep spreading the word that whistleblower protection is essential for oversight and accountability.
