Established in January 2024, the ARP is a program created by the National Whistleblower Center (NWC) and the National Whistleblower Legal Defense and Education Fund (“Fund”). It replaces the former Attorney Assistance Program and is designed to help whistleblowers obtain legal representation.Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet consectetur. Yes. All communications with the ARP are considered strictly confidential to the fullest extent of the law. The program is managed by an attorney licensed in the District of Columbia; however, this managing attorney does not provide legal advice or recommendations regarding hiring.
No. To ensure fairness, the ARP strictly prohibits self-referrals. No referrals can be made to any attorney who is an employee, director, trustee, agent, or contractor of the NWC or the Fund.
Whistleblowers seeking help must complete a secure, Confidential Intake Form to be evaluated for the ARP.
To sustain the ARP and NWC’s ongoing advocacy work, attorney members are expected to make contributions under specific conditions, compliant with American Bar Association and D.C.
