Andrew Kreig was a reporter for the Harford Courant, a Times Mirror company, for 14 years. In 1987 he published a case study that documented how New England’s second largest newspaper was inflating or suppressing major news stories, including some that had won major journalism awards. He later published “Spiked: How Chain Management Corrupted America’s Oldest Newspaper,” which exposed top executives within the Harford Courant and the Times Mirror, which was considered one of the nation’s most prestigious media conglomerates at the time. Kreig continues his investigative work with the Washington, DC based Justice Integrity Protect.
