Michael Sandknop was a Defense Contractor Employee who reported fraud, waste and abuse of power while working at the Missouri National Guard. He was fired the same week he blew the whistle. The DOD Office of Inspector General released a repoort on June 6, 2017, in which it concluded that his employer, BPSI, had fired him for making protected disclosures and recommended reinstatement and back pay. He has not received either. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch published a 9-part series about his case.
