The House has introduced several toxic amendments to the Whistleblower Protection Act. We need your help now to fix the bill before it goes to mark-up today! Please urge your members of Congress to stand up now for whistleblower protections.

The House bill will:

• Block jury trials for federal employees
• Block whistleblowers from accessing U.S. Courts of Appeal that are considered more "liberal," such as the 9th Circuit
• Empower, for the first time, the politically appointed Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB) to summarily dismiss whistleblower claims without a hearing

Civil rights groups and others have already signed a letter to Congress in opposition to the new changes.
