The National Whistleblower Center (NWC) is a nonprofit organization that educates and empowers whistleblowers worldwide. One of the Center’s specialties is assisting whistleblowers in countering climate corruption, illegal wildlife trafficking, illegal fishing, ocean pollution and other forms of environmental harm.

Join our small D.C.-based staff team in carrying out programs focused on educating people and organizations worldwide about how they can effectively utilize reward-based whistleblower laws to fight corruption, winning legislation and agency decisions that empower whistleblowers, and providing communications and policy support in high-impact whistleblower cases.

Data Scientist / Researcher – Python or R Experience

National Whistleblower Center is seeking a data scientist with Python or R experience who can help connect to websites using their API, to mine and analyze conversation or comment data to develop further insights. This data scientist should also be able to illustrate how to use these data mining and analysis techniques to the team for ongoing data mining processes.

Social Media Associate

National Whistleblower Center is seeking an enthusiastic Social Media Associate to spread the word about our climate related projects. In this role, the appropriate candidate would work in tandem with the Social Media Manager and Climate Projects Communications Manager to implement NWC’s Climate, Oil and Gas, and Utilities Projects content calendars.

National Whistleblower Center is seeking a Research Associate to assist in several climate-related research projects focused on the oil & gas, coal, timber, and utilities industries. The Research Associate will serve as part of a small staff and consultant team that carries out these programs.
