Stephen Kohn Presents at Inspectors General Conference

Stephen Kohn discussed whistleblower protection laws and the critical oversight role inspectors general play in safeguarding whistleblowers at a national training conference attended by over 200 participants.

WASHINGTON, D.C. | October 21, 2022 — National Whistleblower Center is proud to announce that Stephen Kohn, National Whistleblower Center’s Board Chairman, presented at the Association of Inspectors General Annual Training Conference. The conference aims to build the skills for Inspectors General nationwide.

The presentation “Blowing the Whistle” was moderated by Sheryl Goodman President at Procurement Integrity Consulting Services and included panelists from various stakeholders in the whistleblower world. Mr. Kohn’s comments to the over 200-person audience covered the core tenets of whistleblower protections and the essential role Inspectors General play in whistleblower protection.

“Inspectors General are an important point of contact for whistleblowers. It was a huge honor to be invited to participate in this panel. The training conference is an important convening and opportunity to impact whistleblower experiences nationwide.”  Said Siri Nelson, Executive Director at National Whistleblower Center. “It is so incredible that we have the benefit of Stephen Kohn’s expertise, and I am so proud to have had him as our representative at this panel.”
