WASHINGTON, D.C. | May 13th, 2024 Today, National Whistleblower Center, sent a letter to Sam Salehpour, expressing our support for Salehpour’s exceptional courage in coming forward to testify about the safety issues at Boeing and the subsequent whistleblower retaliation he faced. Salehpour’s bravery in speaking out against wrongdoing not only demonstrates an unwavering commitment to safety but also upholds the values of integrity and accountability that are essential in any institution.

Sam Salehpour’s actions have not gone unnoticed. National Whistleblower Center has been actively advocating for the protection of whistleblowers like Salehpour and pushing for thorough investigations into issues with safety and whistleblower retaliation at Boeing. Following the tragic death of John Barnett, NWC took swift action, calling on Congress to investigate the circumstances surrounding his passing and the broader safety concerns within Boeing.

Since our call to action in March, 1,000 NWC supporters mobilized for this cause, sending over 4,000 letters urging Congress to act.

In recognition of Salehpour’s bravery and dedication to ensuring the safety of others, National Whistleblower Center extends our gratitude on behalf of all those who value transparency and ethical conduct. Salehpour’s actions have not only shed light on critical issues but have also sparked a movement for change that will have a lasting impact. Salehpour’s courage will inspire countless more individuals to stand up for what is right and demand accountability from those in positions of power.

Everyone deserves to feel safe in the workplace and be free to speak out against corruption without fear of retaliation. National Whistleblower Center will continue to support Sam Salehpour on his whistleblowing against Boeing and urges others to do the same.
