Hold Social Media Companies Accountable

NWC is supporting a whistleblower in bringing forward evidence that Facebook is hosting and facilitating terror and hate content on its website and that the company’s management has been deceiving shareholders and the public about its efforts to address this growing problem.

A key focus of the campaign is curtailing illegal wildlife trafficking on Facebook and other social media websites, with four whistleblower petitions filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

NWC is supporting a whistleblower in a SEC petition to hold social media companies accountable for allowing looters of antiquities to run smuggling operations from their websites.
