Biography
Vivek Kothari represents whistleblowers who report fraud.
As a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice, he led investigations and prosecutions of public corruption, cybercrime, and organized crime — so he knows how the government sizes up a whistleblower’s allegations before deciding whether to act.
He now works on False Claims Act and other whistleblower matters: government contractor fraud, customs violations, Medicare billing schemes, and emerging AI and algorithmic abuse.
He studied computer science at Brown before Stanford Law, which matters when the fraud is buried in the data.
