WASHINGTON, D.C. | November 30, 2021 — Today, National Whistleblower Center (NWC) NWC released an exclusive reprisal of this year’s National Whistleblower Day Celebration. This year’s celebration was the largest ever, with over 10,000 people tuning in to hear more than 60 whistleblowers, legislators, advocates, and leading experts discuss everything from wildlife protection to the EU Whistleblower Directive.
Speakers include Labor Secretary Marty Walsh, SEC Chair Gary Gensler, and the Inspectors General of the DoJ and NSA. Elected officials such as Senators Charles Grassley, Ron Wyden, Tammy Duckworth, and Representative Jackie Speier also presented. Panels featured experts such as Taxpayers Against Fraud’s Jeb White, Project On Government Oversight’s Melissa Wasser, and whistleblowers from around the world.
