Sara Strömberg

Sara Strömberg is the International Development and Strategic Initiatives Manager at the National Whistleblower Center.

Sara holds a Master of Science in Environment and Sustainability Management from Georgetown University. Before pursuing her degree at Georgetown, she worked in international development consulting at a Big Four consulting firm and in corporate sustainability strategy.

She also earned a Master of Social Science in International Law and Human Rights, with a minor in Intercultural Communication, from Åbo Akademi University. Her thesis explored the emerging use of transnational legal strategies in European climate litigation, with a particular focus on the role of human rights arguments in shaping these cases.

Sara brings extensive international experience, having lived and worked in Morocco, Tunisia, Chile, the United States, in addition to her native Finland. She is fluent in Swedish, Finnish, English, and Spanish.
